M.Sc. Nursing *New

Eligibility

  • The candidate should be an Indian. Outside Maharashtra Students (OMS) are also eligible for admission. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his/her domicile/ nationality.
  • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Candidate shall be medically fit.
  • 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
  • Deputed candidates should apply through their authority.

Adminssion Process

  • Admissions to the M.Sc. Nursing course are done on the basis of Merit and at institute level. Desiring candidates should apply in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents.
  • Incomplete forms will not be considered for admission.
  • The candidates are required to submit all relevant documents in original at the time of admission.
  • Affidavit in respect of anti-ragging is mandatory to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • Admissions are provisional and are subject to grant of Enrollment and Eligibility by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

Eligibility

  • The applicant should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year.
  • The applicant should have passed 12th standard (10+2) / Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together for open category and 40% for reserved category.
  • He / she should be medically fit.
  • Admission will be done through NEET test conducted at All India level from the Academic Year 2017-18 onwards.
